The concept for Hen House Eatery hatched when three friends who loved serving breakfast downtown Minneapolis decided to open a place of their own. With a shared vision of creating a dining experience that was both welcoming and vibrant. A place you can enjoy a homemade meal cooked with heart and soul served with a splash of creativity. Food is about friends and family getting together to enjoy each other. While fresh ingredients are the building blocks for great food, Barb realized that it’s not just the food that makes a meal memorable, its the experience.

After a long day of play or work it is always great to stop in to The Hen House for relaxing dinner. The Hen House has a full menu including seafood, steak, hot sandwiches along with plenty of sides and beverages. Enjoy fresh, homemade pie or a cool, delicious sundae for dessert.

The Hen House Restaurant is located at the heart of St. Helen Michigan…a northern playground for recreation, vacation, and relaxation. I always start my day with a bowl of yogurt and have different breakfast items as my day progresses. Shower us with compliments, because then we will do more of ‘that’. Local workers and tourists are always welcome for a scrumptious lunch to pick you up from that midday fatigue.

Maribel is originally from Beas de Segura—a town in the province of Jaén located in south-central Spain. The Jaén province is known for its mountains, olives and processing their liquid gold—olive oil.
